RECORD BCN HOTEL GAMES: WE RAISED MORE THAN 40,000 € AGAINST ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE

The Hotel Alimara, as has become a tradition in recent years, has participated in the BCN Hotel Games 2025. BCN Hotel Games 2025the charity olympiad of the main hotels in Barcelona. In this year's edition they have managed to raise 40,059 € that will go to the Alzheimer Foundation Catalonia.

Hotel Alimara was one of the 60 participating hotels in the city, competing in sports as diverse as Table Tennis (2nd place), Paddle Tennis, Darts (3rd place), Bowling, Yoga and even a gymkhana and an escape room (3rd place).

THE 2025 EDITION HAS SET A NEW RECORD FOR PARTICIPATION AND COLLECTION OF FUNDS.

A total of 1,900 workers from 60 hotels in Barcelona have turned to the tenth edition of the BCN Hotel Games, a solidarity initiative to raise funds for the Fundació Alzheimer Catalunya.

For 40 days, they competed in a veritable Olympics that included everything from go-karting and laser tag to foosball, basketball, volleyball and darts. The result? Record takings.

The solidarity proposal started on September 29 and lasted until November 8. As every year, the games end with the delivery of a check to a chosen entity and, this time, something historic has been achieved: 40,059 € for the Fundació Alzheimer Catalunya, which works to improve the lives of people and families living with Alzheimer's and other dementias.

In these 10 years of initiative promoted by the Barcelona Hotel Guild, more than 223,000 € have already been accumulated, which have supported organizations such as Obra Social de San Juan de Dios, Make a Wish, Nutrition without Borders, SMC - Mental Health of Catalonia, Caritas, Trinijove Foundation, AFANOC or the Roure Foundation.

The funds are raised thanks to individual contributions and also to the traditional raffle in which the 60 participating hotels donate a night for two people with breakfast as a prize.
